Beyond the main conference, Matt Gaughan, Kaylea Champion, and Benjamin Mako Hill are co-organizing the workshop Beyond Productivity: AI, Community, and Sustainability in Open Source Software with Eli Min, Hana Frluckaj, Kevin Crowston, and James Howison. The workshop looks at how generative AI and agentic coding are changing newcomer participation, maintainer burden, trust, and sustainability in open source communities.
We look forward to meeting you all in person at CSCW!
